We'll to all the walkers fans I know you are familiar with this word. How did the Walkers infection start in the Walking Dead? For I am wondering where the infection causing many peoples turning into zombies. I'm presumptuous that we have an conversation regarding the TV Show, merely to be clear, you should probably officially state if you are asking regarding the TV Show or comics. The show is based on the comics, but has diverged greatly already.
Which if you witness some of the scene that in the TV series they not gave us specific information so far. In the TV series there hasn't been an explanation so far. This is easily found by, you know, actually watching the series ;) (painful, I know, what with all the soap opera drama).

When Ricks decided to go out in the prison and have short walking for that day it was a sunny and calm day that he splashes a water to his face and the shot pans out a vegetable garden Rick was headed towards; lining the gates of the garden lie a dozen walkers that have accumulated overnight. While listening to music and digging in the garden, Rick finds a handgun, which he analyzes for a point in time and then movements into his wheelbarrow.
Carl appeared and they had some chit chat with his father Rick. Rick says he had not done so due to the knowledge that Carl was up late reading comic books, and the two share a chuckle. In outdoor prison Carol cooks breakfast for the residents. Daryl joins her, while numerous survivor was so glad and thankful for his hunting. He also expresses him admiration for Daryl, and asks for a handshake from him before he leaves.
