The photo, which Zooey posted on September 24, features New Girl stars Lamorne Morris (Winston), Jake Johnson (Nick), Max Greenfield (Schmidt), Zooey (Jess), Hannah Simone (Cece), and Damon Wayans Jr. (Coach) all smiling broadly on the show’s set.
We saw Coach for the first time on the pilot episode of New Girl for he was the fourth member of the roommate who after Winston replaced. Coach was featured in the New Girl pilot, simply the character was forced to leave the show when Damon’s other series, Happy Endings, was renewed for Season 2.
This time that Happy Endings officially been canceled, which Damon will appeared on this season as role of Coach in the next episode which will air on November 5, 2013. Damon’s presence on set would indicate that he has already begun filming his return, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Though it’s been ages since we’ve seen him on the show, we bet Coach will have a thing or two to say about Nick and Jess’s relationship...
